One Of Those Nights Poem by Ray Hansell

One Of Those Nights

It's one of those nights
When you turn out the lights
You say to yourself
Something is not right

She's laying right here
Next to you
But there's nothing
That you want to do

You don't want to kiss her
You don't want to touch
Because in your heart
You love someone else so much

You lay awake thinking each night
Just what you're going to do
Knowing in your heart
The one you miss should be next to you
