One Minute Poem by Lisa Rhodes

One Minute

Rating: 4.0

Enjoying just one minute
Is so great—
To relish in the warm lute
Of the heat,
Snoring like a sneaky cat's mute
Purr—content
Like a rhythmic racy ride, a brute
Over blue
Ocean waves, soothes like a flute.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The minutes of our lives if cherished are so special. I found one minute that I wanted to last longer and I knew I was lucky to have experienced one good minute the morning I wrote this poem.

How great it would be if we all found at least one minute to enjoy.... You perhaps will have us all thinking now to value our time. I can feel your energy in these words
