One Life

ONE LIFE

One life was lost today
To the hands of a murderer
But what can be done
We're all on the run

One life, too many foes, one destiny,

One life was lost today
But I couldn’t do a bloody thing

As one can see
The world's not once what it used to be
Finding it hard to cope
Nearly out of hope

But one life keeps fighting on
To seek the light of day
To find our inner peace
To find our true heart

And go back to the start

One life was lost today
To the hands of a hero
But god knows I can’t forgive them
God knows
I can’t forgive them

One life was saved today
To the hands of a murderer
But he ain’t no hero
Know he
Ain’t no hero

Once upon a time
In this crazy world of mine

Struggling through the darkness
Fighting through these wars
Fighting for what is mine and yours

One life shall be sacrificed
To save another
To save another god damn life

One life was lost today
To the hands of a murderer
But what can be done
We’re all on the run
We’re all
We’re all on the run

One life was saved today
To the hands of a hero
But god know, god knows
It’s nothing that will show
Nothing
Nothing that will show

One life
Once upon a time
In this crazy world of mine

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
