One Last Song
Sing a song
that leaves me for deaf
a firey tune
that burns my heart
and awakes my soul
fill my eyes with tears
and my humanity with love
sing the song of songs
the whispers of the universe
the sounds of god
of any god
a song for justice
a song for joy
a song for mercy
sing a song
that leaves me dying
so that I once feel
that I'm alive
