One Day Poem by Aileen Davis

It's been a long time since I felt real passion and pleasure,
sleep has less en central to me,
sometimes it feels as though the walls are in closing around me
which makes me feel as though I am trapped,
how can life just seem to fade before you ever know what may lay ahead,
I remember when life used to feel me with joy
and how I could not wait until I woke-up the next morn,
I do know on day I will feel this joy of life and love more than I have ever knew before.
