One Alone Poem by Joyce Hemsley

One Alone

Forty words:

The evening air was perfumed with flowers
Annabella's delight in the Maytime hours
She felt such magic in her Romeo's arms
For he owned good looks and manly charms.
Sweet ecstasy would always stay
With Romeo alone leading the way.
