Once Upon a Time

Once upon a time
most miserable ever after
the happy endings of our expectations
crumbling to dust as we speak
‘tis only a dream, my dear,
only a bad, sad dream,
need only wake up, it’ll all go away
nothing of this fairytale will stay

poet Percy Bysshe Shelley

We are as clouds that veil the midnight moon;
How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness radiantly!--yet soon
