Once Upon A Dream Poem by Amanda Ford

Once Upon A Dream

Rating: 5.0

Dark.
No one.
Nothing
Emptiness.
Then,
A sudden burst of light,
The smallest splash of color,
A golden flower in the dark.

It grows and brightens,
Now a green field full of dancing leaves,
The laugh of a young child,
Pure innocence tinkling on the wind.

The warm sun brightens a path
Where my family and loved ones abound.
With a small smile and wave,
I fade back into oblivion.

No one.
Nothing.
Empty.
Dark.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

A rabid but rich and refreshing story about life that is both compelling and creative. Well done my friend.
