Once I Was A Turtle
Once I was a Turtle
safe in my cocoon
before way before I turned
Turtle many eons ago
But now I'm a Turtle
who peeks out into the world
and with wonder, savor
the robust living and life
as I should and be, moving
remembering to be
always be ME.
