Once I Saw A Flower Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Once I Saw A Flower

Once I Saw a Flower

Once I saw a flower.
It's center seemed so soft.
It's tender look,
It's smooth touch.

Once I saw a flower,
It's petal was so fragile.
It's color was a part of a rainbow.
It's color was soft and compliant.

Once I saw a flower,
And it's desire was not for me to pluck it.
And so I never did.
It's happiness was my happiness.

The flower and I lived in colorful happiness.
