Once Again In Dreams Poem by sue crocker

Once Again In Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Once again in dreams I take a trip
Where all my hopes they reside
Among the emotions and feelings
I gladly take a ride

Where passion brings me comfort
And sweet kisses keep me warm
I am enveloped by loving arms
Till the break of the cold morn

Each soothing whisper heard
I remember through the day
And the only regret I have
In my dreams I cannot stay

For in my dreams once more
I relive my wanton emotions
Where you my love are addictive
Like some strange and magic potion

What is love without a reason
What are dreams without you there
You take the nightmare from my life
Because I know you truly care

Beautiful and wistful poem, Sue. I truly love the second stanza. Your poetry is always wonderful, Once Again In A Dream is no exception.
