On The Way Poem by Benjamin Taylor

On The Way

Close your eyes; do not dismay,
For you know good love is on the way.
Clasp your hands; breathe without fear,
Good love will soon be here.

To wait for what you know is yours,
Is patience at its best; of course...
To anticipate what is coming soon,
Is to value the coming sun, while staring at the moon.

Time will unfold slowly.
Love will enter boldly.
Dawn will soon arrive.
Love will begin life.

Close your eyes; do not dismay,
For you know good love is on the way.
Clasp your hands; breathe without fear,
Good love will soon be here.

Conrad: This is a well written poem and it deserves the label poetry at its best. How well you express thoughts that can only be forged with intellect and maturity. I invite you and would be pleased if you would read some of mine. Adeline
