On The Skywalk Poem by Daniel Trevelyn Joseph

On The Skywalk

Walking alone, she smiles:
What is she thinking of,
This modern solitary reaper?
Some joke in the class,
A flirting moment in the interval,
Or a handsome boy doing a press
At odd moment in an odd place?

Whatever it may be,
I enjoyed the shy smile before
It vanished off her red lips.
