On The Mend
For a long time, I was hurt
From being treated like dirt
Too afraid to let anyone in
Now my heart is finally healing
And you're the medicine
Without you by my side
I feel like a part of me has died
Now matter how long I'm around you
I miss you the second I leave
It's like you're my soul; Volume Two
Because you're so special to me
Thank you, my valentine
For taking the time
To dust off my heart
And make it shine
So that it reflects your face
In a large part
All because you're mine
When we learn that nobody can give us happiness, because it is within us all the time, we just have to find it, then we will be really happy.
