Who can know the heart with it's dark and secretive
contents? Until the heart can become a place wherein
lies love, peace, grace and mercy then there will be room
for many to come in and enjoy it. Lovely poem. (Report) Reply

A fine succinct write with good use of the bracketed repeated line at beginning and end for emphasis and poetic effect. (Report) Reply

Definitely not a warm-hearted poem. Vivid imagery here - painful, cold and bitter.
    Depressingly superb!
