On Such A Nice Day Poem by Francis Duggan

On Such A Nice Day

White waves of saltwater they roll ceaselessly
Upon the white beach of the town by the sea
The gulls and the terns in the sunshine preen
An artist on canvas could not sketch such a scene

As beautiful as this in the bright sun of day
No artist could Capture Nature's own beauty in a natural way
No poet could describe the great beauty i see
The natural beauty that now surrounds me.

The surf waves of blue water look foamy and white
And coastal flowers blooming in the bright sunlight
The memories of such beauty never fade away
Tis so good to be living on such a nice day.

Sea spray on the face of the freckled faced boy
As he runs through the waves he laughs loud in joy
To look at Nature's own beauty money one need not pay
And a scene such as this in the memory stay.
