On Magnetism Poem by Diem Enjee

On Magnetism

On attraction and lust;
on hard rock and steel,
it bring us together,
and emits how we feel.

The bonds of a magnet
buried deep in the soul
are powerless against
the strength of the pull.

The meeting of bonds
can end with collision;
the breaking of bonds
needs but one incision.

However, the case
is only true for the ones
who have yet to locate
their equivalent one.

For the pull does not falter;
it won't alter its course.
It's always for certain, and
it will find the source.

The magnet of beings
is buried deeply within
It's forever searching, and
at birth it begins…

To bring us together;
to blot out the fears;
to flare up the passion;
to fabricate tears,

and the end of the pull
leads far after death.
It outlives the lovers,
and it never rests.

We all are but magnets
in a world made of stone.
No matter what happens
you are not alone.

Come critics to say
That I bathe in idealism,
but I refuse to give up
on love and on magnetism.
