On Individualism Poem by Marian Evans

On Individualism

I care what you think,
So I'll try to captivate

I like to think I'm creative.
Here, watch me dance.
I saw this once on Youtube;
It's truly one of a kind.
I can sing too.
Name anything by Bobby Darin.

I even bet you wouldn't
Expect me to be brutally honest
And admit I am unequipped
To answer to myself for you.

Nice spiel? Thanks,
I'm vain as well,
But at least you think
I am special. I am true.
How unique.
