On Humanism Poem by Ratnakar Mandlik

On Humanism

Rating: 4.0

Banishing you from their hearts
With a fellow being they couldn't chat
Of themselves able to be called human
Oh humanism they are morally slain.

Getting distressed by those brutes
Where did you go, oh humanism?
In furry or disgust you left them
To reap the fruits of own barnarism.

What is their fate who can say
When in the filth of self they lay.
Have they to die like king Bali
Being victims of their own brutality.

They have left you, its all right
Still with them you have to fight,
Challenging conscience of the rest
To mix thy culprits with the dust..

Come forward oh hidden humanism
To save the crushing of the humble
By the selfish inhumanly humans
And to regain your dominance.

Sadly, we don't hear much of this ideal nowadays. Great poem.
