On Elegance Poem by Dr John Celes

On Elegance

Most things we do in life must please the eyes;
Our actions must be laced with graceful moves;
Smart is the man who is well-dressed and neat;
Success smiles surely to the elegant.

A well-designed speech strikes right harmony;
A neatly written letter gets across;
A famous cricketer perfects his style;
A doyen is a class all by himself.

Elegance adds the spice to acts on earth;
The ballet dancer gets the grace sublime;
Untidiness makes actions quite clumsy;
A gentleman and lady are both smart.
