On Dawn Breaking Poem by Yohan Confectioner

On Dawn Breaking

Little birds come chirping gay,
The moon sets; up has come day
Three weeks now set into may.
The birds fly free, unlike me
The birds fly free.

Street lights have made way,
For the mighty bright sun shines our bay
And still, this is all I can say:
Yet she is not mine love,
Yet she is not mine.

Carts ply busily on road,
Some load, some unload.
The writer, as always, sticks to one mode
Life moves on, unlike mine,
Life moves on.

The sky turns opaque blue
Down comes the morning dew
To me this is all a-new
Yet she is not mine love,
yet she is not mine.
