On Ash Wednesday
Ash your body;
Wear sack-cloth;
Fast and abstain;
Reconcile with God.
Ask forgiveness
For sins past;
Pray fervently
For soul’s grace.
Meditate well;
Open your heart;
Offer your life
To Jesus Christ.
Humble yourself;
Ask God’s help
To lead a life pure
Obeying His code.
