On A Wildlife Safari Poem by Rajesh Thankappan

On A Wildlife Safari

On a wildlife safari
We saw a herd of deer,
They noticed us too
And ran away in fear.

A while later
We saw some wild buffaloes,
They stood their ground
And began to bellow.

Then it was the turn of
Sparrows in a tree,
They flapped their tiny wings
And chirped happily.

In the middle of the day
We saw some wild pigs,
Frolicking through the bush
As if playing hide and seek.

At the end of the day
We saw lions in a pride
We got them photographed
Oh, what a majestic sight!

Fascinating, yet a little frightening to be out in the wild with these amazing creatures. Enjoyed very much
