On A Clear October Night

Rating: 5.0

On a clear October night,
A crescent moon swooned
Above my beloved mountain,
In perfect harmony are
God's finest jewels across the sky.
Whereby, it calls forth
The feeling of thankfulness.

To see her set behind
The legendary knoll.
Dark winged clouds fast in flight,
Calls forth not of despair;
But of sweet sadness,
That life is such.
Yet, as sure as it'll rise on the morrow,
Calls forth the thought of the final awakening
On a clear October night
