Oldest One Oldest One Poem by Barbara E. Scott

Oldest One Oldest One

Rating: 5.0

I can hardly remember
When your time began
Through diapers, rattles
And bubble gum
Climbing trees
Yelling look at me
From ragged jeans
to prom dresses
Wedding bells in the steeple
What a world of love
You gave to me
Even though we are apart
You will always be
In my heart
