Old Age Teaches The Wisdom / Of Taking Pleasure In Small Pleasures

Old age teaches the Wisdom
Of taking pleasure in small pleasures
Of appreciating abilities long taken
For granted
Old age teaches the gifts of sight and hearing
Of just being able to walk
Old age teaches there are so many ways
Of being quietly happy
Of living in the day for the day only
Life has so much pain and sorrow
And will have more certainly
But the small pleasures
Are great gifts for now.
