Old Age Home
How much did you spend on my raising? ”
“What was your total cost for me nursing? ”
”What have you done so far for my education”
Blasted son at parent as if feeling suffocation,
I may pay each and every pie you spent on me,
You would have offered me water instead of tea,
I should have not died for the want of food,
It would have been nice and done me a good,
I will pay even for your feeding,
It causing me anger and internal bleeding,
Why should I suffer for views conceding?
Chances to stay with you are now receding,
If you prefer staying away I may arrange,
May not be so economical but soon manage,
But can’t pull on together with your presence,
Peace and calm will prevail in your absence,
I shall prefer old age home,
You may stay with ease and roam,
Life is made hell with daily bickering,
Old home age better for living and catering,
I am in state of despair,
No amount of efforts can repair,
No let up on both sides,
Wife threaten and parent confide,
Threats from both sides to commit suicide,
I am in dilemma what to do and decide,
I am fed up with unrest,
Not enough time to have even rest,
Both attempting more and try their best,
I am only on agenda waiting for test,
Which side I should take?
What decision I should make?
Should I make the reason fake?
Or end the life by jumping in lake,
I may not end life,
But please only wife,
Parent should go,
Rest I can forgo,
I may sustain criticism,
But not stand favoritism,
My conscious may not allow,
But instructions I have to follow
