Oh What A Tangled Web We Weave Poem by Dónall Dempsey

Oh What A Tangled Web We Weave

Rating: 5.0

Tiny spider
crawls over

the jigsaw

scattered all over
the floor

looking every bit

as puzzled as

I

as to where
& how

It all fits
together.

It sits
on one

part of an eye.

I hold the other
part of the eye

between my
fingertips.

Hey! We’re
doing alright!

In silence
we both look for and find

a mouth.
