Oh Night!
Oh Night! Sleepless Night!
Don't let me feel alone;
Bring my love in my dreams
And keep her near till dawn.
Go into her chamber
And wishper in her ear;
With soft and loving voice
Tell, I need her here.
Tell her, I love her
And how much do I care;
If she can come to me
I have a lot to share.
Oh Night! Endless Night!
Time of restlessness;
Tell me, how will I spend
In my Love's absence.
