Oh where did you go
You left me right here
With my head bowed low

Oh why did you leave me
Here, all torn apart
With only your memories
Holding together this old heart

Oh lover please tell me
Where did I go wrong
What did I do to hurt you
Did I stay away too long?

I thought that you loved me
Much like the way I loved you
But lover oh lover
I guess I didn't have a clue

Oh lover oh lover
Now are you gone for good?
I'll just cry away these aches
The way only a broken heart could

Now lover you know
My love was always here for you
Now I just sit all alone
Crying these tears, and feeling blue
