Oh, How The Time Slips Away Poem by Almedia Knight-Oliver

Oh, How The Time Slips Away

Rating: 5.0

Grey, my hair when we met.
Young men and no men no longer
held their breath when I passed

Yet by happenstance we meet
Laid bare heart and soul that
You managed to betray both.

Then, was fully dressed in personal
Accomplishments, though frazzled
by ills, and love like sweet juicy fruit

But my love quarreled with me
days and nights and took control
over days and nightmares nights
... after all, time defeated both.

And continue loving kindly and sweetly, though he
didn't cease expressingnice things about his late wife
in attempt to make me classless but I create my class

Enough, enough, enough:

Come forth words...
I'm poetess enough to call on muse:
Just take my heart and break
into small pieces and cast them
to the wind and then bit by bit they'll
crystallize like
stars, then be
ordered to shine
Wherever you are.
I fret, tears fall
then you make sweet!
I'll remain your flower
and your angel when I die
Love needs you, will you
be with love, right now

Things seem to slip
Through hands and
Blend with winds.
When love comes
know i, and try
holding on….

A poem of Love Love is looking for to be loved Sure poets and poetess' are born muser. ‘Love needs to be with you/Will you be with love? Is it soliloquizing with Love to glorify Love …this You in guise Love itself? ‘So when love comes /Try holding on…’ a gala finish and ‘Victory unto Love’ Ma’am ~ ‘May Love find a sanctuary in your sanctuary and shower solace 10/10 Ms. Nivedita UK
