Oh first love
The reason for my smile
And the reason for my tears.
Oh first love
My heart's soul mate
And my heart's heart breaker.
Oh first love
The one person I can't live with
And I can't live without.
Oh first love
You've inhabited my heart
For so long I don't
See myself without you
Without your so called love
Without your lies
Without the tears that rain
Every night from my eyes
From the loneliness
And insecurities you've
Made me feel.
Oh first love
I wonder
I really wonder
If I were given a chance
To leave and forget you,
Would I?
Would I leave you?
Or being with you is such
A norm that I now enjoy it
That I don't even see anything
Wrong with it
I really do wonder
My first love.
Oh yes first love
Though you've brought pain
In my life I have to say
The little things you do
They make me enormously happy
And you the only one
Capable of making me that happy.
After all we've been through
After all you've put me through
I don't want anyone else
I want you and only you
And yes I will continue to
