Off Shore Sweat Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Off Shore Sweat

Rating: 5.0

pathos
pity
poverty

lines
of corporate
profit

quests
equating to
policies

of cheap
off shore sweat
shop labour

silencing mega
domestic factories
stillness doomed

giant economy
millions of proud
loyal blue collar

workers
sentenced
shuffled

to
long
lines

of shame ghost
economic sorrow
in massive reaped

industrial recession
as the bell tolls
grave consequences

of blind
corporate
greed
