Of Your Financial Loss Poem by Francis Duggan

I am sorry to hear of your financial loss
But many are burdened with some sort of cross
Though how somebody's loss can be another's gain
Is something that seems beyond me to explain
Though 'tis true enough to live we all breathe in air
For many in the Human World life's not very fair
And whether or not with that you do agree
At least anyway that's how it does seem to me
Though we live as some say under the one sky
Life's choices to everyone does not apply
Every year hundreds of thousands of hunger do die
The facts tell us so and facts never lie
Of your financial losses I feel sorry to hear
But things may be much better for you this year.
