Of A Hideout Mysterious... Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

Of A Hideout Mysterious...

The dark night stepped out
of the gate of dusk
desirous of a glimpse
of the bright sun light
a lot it had heard about...

Wandered high
in search of rays
all over the sky;
unable to find
tired and spent
wanting a respite,
sat at the gate of dawn
fell snoring asleep...

On hearing the breathe
the sunlight showed up
at the soft water edge
from beneath the earth
sporting a smile on face
orange, soon to turn brighter
broader silvery in shade...

The night wouldn’t wake up
soon from snoring ignorance
for another cyclic hours
twelve to be precise;
the hide out of the bright
sun light thus,
my grandma said,
remained mysterious
ever to dark sleeping minds...

Hai gi, how are you doing these days? i read it, rather i would say i devoured it outright. it was a passage, a voyage and a realization and simple philosophy put cubes of words. sun light thus, my grandma said, remained mysterious ever to dark sleeping minds... mysterious to me too i call it a brilliant look at the very mundane and used. i got a chance to read it. great you did it sir. jaypee it is long time i sent something on this page. now i am trnaslating a book of malayalam poetry. jay[ee
