Ode To Beauty Poem by Xana Mori

Ode To Beauty

Rating: 5.0

…Thou art Love's nearest sibling then
Thou art the young's long-waited light
First sight's Thy merited present
Shiny eyes and sense inside

Trembling hands in hands beloved's
Shivering joy, amorousness's bliss
Thy power is enlivening
Awakening their kiss

Her godlike skin, her aromatic hair
His manly image, fragrant air …
But magnifying strength shall cease
And their spring shall feel at ease

But time elapses, seasons pass
And their regrets're unanswered ones
They live until their Autumn comes
And no more shall be greener grass

Divine flavor for they already mourn
Shall meet its inevitable dawn
And Youth's benighted sunny beam
Was like transient ethereal Dream

But lifetime leaves Thee to perish
At long last lovehearts shall Thee cherish.

Lovely poem on the subject of beauty, youth, nature and life and how these are interrelated. They live until their Autumn comes / And no more shall be greener grass And Youth's benighted sunny beam / Was like transient ethereal Dream
