Ode To A Crow Poem by Meredith Sheives

Ode To A Crow

There was once a bird who was disliked and hated
He flew above the crowd and sang his song
They all just sat and waited
For it to be over, the poor throng
They couldn't see his beauty
Beneath Feathers of black
They couldn't hear his tune
They didn't care, truly
They walk away, you wishing they'd come back
Thank You Crow, for singing your way into the afternoon
