Amen! Very delightful write dear Joseph Addison. I loved the way you have worshiped the LORD ALMIGHTY by giving thanks and recognising God as is!

    Stay blessed.

Great poem indeed; some of those lines one would read from top to bottom without feeling tired but instead yearn for more.

What I found intriguing is how the poet, Joseph Addison has dug out the second line ryhming perfectly in the meaning of the first line? But I believe master poets like Him are capable of picking a line out of wind, so to say.I found the poem very simple, yet very deep in meaning.

A lively and lovely Sky canvas is drawn poetically by Joseph Addison! A beautiful poem to read indeed!

Addison is saying that the way the universe is put together can only be by the hand of a great and devine intelegence, meaning God. The poetry is very good the way it is put together.

Brings into light the awesome power and beauty of GODS creation. A new novelty in that era, that the world was round and not flat.

I am not sure what Addison meant by 'Reason' if it hears the stars etc proclaim '
'The Hand that made us is Divine.' This poem could be set to music as a hymn.
