Odd Man Poem by Murtaza Micky Yusuf

Odd Man

You make me sick odd man
Why are you eating me to the bone
Then leave me hungry everyday
You are always welcome to pasture
Until you started biting the fingers that fed you
I appeal to your sense of belonging
You spit a hot saliva in the air
You stained your hands with cold blood
Your brothers and sisters cant stop wondering
How your harmless rod turned to a deadly snake
You are not the Biblical Moses anyway
Because you are a life destroyer
You spread a gospel of the devil
Now you are despised everywhere
Your days of rebellion are numbered
The voice of the people is the voice of God
