October Poem by Victoria Elizabeth

October

October by Victoria Fuller.

Leaves falling,
softly from trees.
Little kids going to get candy,
saying trick-or-treat.
But this October wasn't so merry.
Loved ones were lost,
taken away from us.
By the grace of gods hands,
now their looking down upon us.
Smiling as they are in a happier place,
while were down here.
Mourning the loss,
remembering old times.
Frowning because we miss them,
smiling at the pictures.
