I am an ocean of problems,
With raging gulfs of anxiety,
Thunderstorms of fears,
Coral reefs of loneliness
In me all the time,
And in this turmoil
I saw you as a shore,
Calm and composed,
A harbor for my troubles,
A resting place in peace,
Day after day I tried
To be with you,
An endless attempt
To touch you with
My waves of love
But my every attempt failed
As after every touch I trailed
Back into the depths of my solitude.
