Occasionally Appear Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Occasionally Appear

Muse has lost the soul
Not responding to time’s call
Sleeping with deadly silence
I find totally dark presence

Editors are sleeping
And keeping
Studied silence
Not attending even once

We are living in cart’s age
Whole pages are filled with zero
What does it speak?
We are mentally unprepared and weak

Hardly one or two
Sail through
Rest all get rusted
As if totally cut off and unrelated

You need vigorous drive
With participation live
Not simply passing the time
And occasionally appear sometimes

Occasionally Appear

Very true and well said, Hasmukh Sir. I too am guilty lately of this Occasionally appear syndrome owing some personal reasons. Hope to be back soon like before though fingers still crossed! Padmaja Iyengar, Secunderabad May 30,2015
