Obedient Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

Obedient

She smiles at latest arrival in her arms
pleased with yet another grandchild;
though they've all lost count
how many that makes now.

'Go forth and multiply'
has been taken to heart.

No matter the sky high debt
the house caving around their knees;
her original eight follow the set path
and God knows they're being obedient.
