O' My Loving Jesus Poem by Amitava Sur

O' My Loving Jesus

Rating: 5.0

A holy heart with kindness and wisdom
Was boldly addressing them.
To think right, to do the right
And to know themselves.

He opened their eyes
Against orthodox beliefs
What was preached
To the people then.

How gallantly he was honored! !
Is known to all of us.
So brutally he was punished, so inhuman,
Forcibly they compelled him to kill himself,
By carrying his own cross, up to the tomb -
To be nailed to death.

The devil force, the then ruler
Made a saga against him.
So helpless, so undone then,
He had to Surrender to those beasts.

He is my loving Jesus
Innocent and bold -
Having no option left
Had to sacrifice his life.

Honesty was thus butchered
Publicly in a place! ! !

Oh' Jesus - my loving Jesus,
I just cannot take.
I always keep you
In the core of my heart.

With my uncontrolled tears in eyes
I love you my friend.

I don't like to see you
As my teacher or a living God.
I don't even separate you
By immortality, giving God's fame.
I rather feel your enormous pain
So cowardly and ruthlessly they did execute.

Your love for all and kindness
Is known to us all.
Love you, praise you
And keep you as my closest loving friend.

Could I sit with you alone
And have your touch of hand! ! !

Love you, praise you
And always keep you in my heart.

I like the sentiments expressed in this poem Amitava, you feel for the suffering Jesus went through and so refer to it. . But what you would like is a direct and personal friendship. If as we are told we are made in Gods image and likeness, that should be possible. A very good write.

A loving tribute to a man who chose to give up His life. It is hard to understand why this had to happen, yet more than 2000 years later, we remember Him, and many try to follow in His footsteps of doing good, loving our enemies, and forgiving those who wrong us. I believe this is the good that resulted from His sacrifice.... hence, the name Good Friday.

To never see something with your own eyes yet to believe and truly love this one man is truly amazing. Good Friday is important to us all. Thank You Amitava

Truly speaking, you write well of Jesus, but the truth is he wouldn't like to be mourned, it was his destiny. From the angle you are coming from, Every thing you've said abt Jesus is right, he wouldn't even accept glory that's not due him. But there's a mystery abt Jesus that is revealed to the people of the book, that without absolute submission to the perfect will of God you may not see be revealed to you: that he's the son of God, savior of the world and the one that calls many into sonship.
