Numb Poem by April Humason

Numb

My mind is numb from your memory
My heart is numb from hating you
My mouth is numb from yelling at you
My ear is numb from listening to my surroundings
My eye is numb from watching over my shoulder
My life is numb from living in fear
Your mind is numb from memories you made up
Your heart is numb from loving me from a distance
Your mouth is numb from kissing my picture
Your ear is numb from listening to my every word
Your eye is numb from watching my every move
You life is numb from living a fantasy
