Nuance Of Romance Poem by Gautam Sen

Nuance Of Romance

Blood-jet darts to inflame desire
overlooking one untold truth;
longings itch for lovers' advent,
resume gulping passion's vermouth.

Eyes stuck, unblinked, sucking nectar
from living lusts in plumaged paint,
love routed to the desire's path
as charismatic enticement.

Passionate luster endures not,
fun excites to extinguish soon,
thought remains for a postmortem-
is it really a curse or boon?

Now if we look at love as art,
a creation out of inner muse
souls unite at each others call
letting amour slowly infuse.

Affections grown in many spells-
caresses of warm soothing pink
transform cravings to feel sacred,
souls find shrines of spirited sync.

The fumes of lust soon get disbursed
slaking body of all its thirsts,
remnants of love made artfully
leave two hearts blissfully immersed.
