Nowhere - Poem by Chris Leermakers

You Know What They Say
You Cannot Buy Love With Money
Well Love Without Pay
Is Pretty Damn Funny
They Say Materialistic Child
Oh, Your Attitude Needs A Rest
With Money You Are Quite Wild
And Heaven’s Simply The Best
What’s Money To Us Anyway
Plain Old Paper
The Plastic, Numbers, Various Things
That Turn Us Into Anything
Oh No, We Have Our Morals
Scruples, Obligations For A Start
Oh No, The Little Florals

Hey, I Do Not Want To Part
So, I’m A Little Plastic
Well, I Never Said I Wasn’t
Or Some Kind Of Spastic
Who’s Suffering The Tick
Yeah, I’m A Little Crazy
Today, The Modern Age
Maybe A Little Bit Hazy
Tomorrow Comes The Rage
In France They Are At Peace
The Glorious City Of Love
Does Love Pay The Bills
I Think I’ll Give It The Shove
What Are You Talking About
Oh Love
Well Hey, Don’t Get Me Wrong
I Think I’ll Sing A Song
Then Maybe I’ll Forget
The Singing Of This Set

If It Comes Along
Grab It For A Song
Because If, Money Gets In The way
You’ll Have Nowhere To Stay….
