Now You'Re Gone (A Song) Poem by TOM Altenhofen

Now You'Re Gone (A Song)

Mend my heart once again
Can you tell just how much it's been broken?
All the pain deep inside
It's amazing how much I can hide
But you're gone far away
And no matter what others say
I'm hurt deep inside
Now you're gone

Sooth the pain that I feel
Can you tell that my love was so real?
Here I stand all alone
And this isolation chills the bone
Still you're gone, gone away
And I ignore what others say
I'm so empty inside
Even though I have tried
Now you're gone

Now you're gone, I'm alone
And I can't find a home
Find a place to be free
Cuz' you're so far from me
And now everything's wrong
Now you're gone

As I sit here and cry
I cannot help but wonder just why
Have you taken my heart
Cuz' I loved you girl, right from the start
And you're gone, fade away
Still I don't get what others say
They don't know my pain
I have nothing to gain
And I cry in the rain
Now you're gone

Now you're gone, I'm alone
And I can't find a home
Find a place to be free
Cuz' you're so far from me
And now everything's wrong
Now you're gone
