My vision shatters as I awoke
From this perfect dream with you
You protected me from the miscreant
Who tore my heart apart
Left me on the sinking boat

There you came, my dear
You let me breathe the air
So jocund, took my heart away
I'll never forget those days
I laughed above the dark with you

Your eyes kept me safe every minute
Your words got me through troubles
Your arms around me are anodynes
Soothed me and comforted me
You promised a bright future
I'll never forget those days with you

I didn't need anything, except for you
To spend a pleasant time in the world
But you had to leave me, I knew
I could see the tension within your eyes

I was drowning in a sinking boat
When you came with that smile
Now I float on the ocean
