Now That You'Re Gone Poem by Tiya Sen

Now That You'Re Gone

Rating: 5.0

It is no secret now that you are gone.
It is a mystery though why you left me alone.
My feelings seemed to be shattered and torn,
As I see my heart turn into a stone.
My soul can’t help but feel spent.
My world seems totally unkempt.
You want me to move on so I can be happy by myself,
I think it is so cos of your own guilt you can free yourself.
I wonder why my love wasn’t good enough for you to keep,
I wonder how you had the heart to push me in this trench so deep.
You very well knew from the beginning my world would crumble,
If your presence in it even began to stumble.
So, just like you choose to forget me and my identity,
I too choose to break free of all the promises that bound you to me
